Join us at 3pm on Friday, June 24th in Room 3, upstairs at Sweeney, for the kick-off of the New Media Gallery and Digital Design Showcase, with a wine tasting by Rooney's restaurant.
The Digital Design Showcase and New Media Gallery will be a cool, hip, immersively digital space with surround-video projection on all walls plus many plasmas screens. It will occupy room 3A (upstairs, southwest corner, nearest the main staircase) in Sweeney Center.
The City of Santa Fe Economic Development is committed
to making this expanded first annual Santa Fe Design Week a resounding
success. With your involvement and your response to this exhibitor
opportunity sheet, we will pursue marketing to the additional demographics
that YOU tell us you’re interested in, including small and
medium business owners, government and the public at-large.
The New Media gallery will contain up to 12 large Plasma & LCD
Screens, with sample reels of:
- Software and Game Design
- Publishing
- Technology
- Film, DVD, TV & animation
- Informatics, Modeling
- Architectural Design & Interiors
- Digital Designed media (not artwork)
- Industrial/Product/Package design
- Graphic and logo design
- CD/Game design
- Other Digital Design, IT and New Media business sectors – as you come forward
We need 30 - 120 second videos/animations
of high quality, design-industry project work, showing/overlaying
the capabilities by showing projects of each company/entity in
each of these industries (with
company/logo branding on your clip, of course!) View
Samples
The clips will show about once every fifteen minutes, ongoing for THREE DAYS!
There is a fee to show each clip, since we do have to pay for
rent and equipment.
